Grace & Jeramey’s Minimalistic Chic Wedding 🤍
You guessed it, Jeramey "slid into her DM's"
The one thing that instagram has done for us besides waste our time, it brought us together.
In November of 2019, Grace followed Jeramey on instagram. They were on the same bodybuilding team, and when Grace came across Jeramey's profile through the teams instagram page, she thought he was cute and loved seeing in his bio that he was a Christian. When Jeramey saw Grace's profile he was overwhelmed with a gut feeling that if he ever me this girl she would become his wife.
The two of them texted everyday and FaceTimed regularly for 6 weeks. Grace began telling people that she thought she met the person she was going to marry - before she had even physically met him. Eventually they set up a time to meet in person. Grace took off after work to Bloomington, Illinois just a few days before Christmas. They spent the weekend together talking for countless hours, getting coffee, going to the gym, walking around a nearby college campus, and going to church together. It was a hard goodbye and Jeramey told Grace he would "see her soon."
The next 6 months they continued to text and FaceTime regularly and developed a strong friendship. Jeramey had decided he was not ready for a relationship, which at the time devastated Grace. Little did she know, he was regularly talking to God about her and telling his friends that he would marry her someday. I guess you could say God was saying, "it's not a no, it's just not yet."
One day in May Jeramey said to Grace, "I think I'm ready to start dating again." Seeing the message pop up on the screen Grace become angry and replied, "Well what the heck am I to you.
On the weekend of June 6th 2020, Jeramey drove to Iowa and came to see Grace for the first time since they met initially. He asked her to be his girlfriend and they spent the summer driving back and forth from Illinios to Iowa. Jeramey promised he would be living in Iowa by November 2020 although Grace was skeptical.
On August 29, 2020 Jeramey packed up all of his belongings and drove to Iowa to start his new job in a new city with Grace just 10 minutes away.
A little over a year late on September 3rd, 2021, Jeramey asked Grace to be his wife.
